Dear parents,
I would like to share some interesting websites and apps that you could use when you are at home with your children and family.
Before doing so, I would like to emphasize how lucky your children are to have you love them, to simply be with them and to give them hugs when they need hugs.
Here are some language strategies that you can use daily to help your children continue to learn language:

Dear parents,
I would like to share some interesting websites and apps that you could use when you are at home with your children and family.
Before doing so, I would like to emphasize how lucky your children are to have you love them, to simply be with them and to give them hugs when they need hugs.
Here are some language strategies that you can use daily to help your children continue to learn language:
- Talk to children. Label common objects. Describe what they are doing. Describe what you are doing.
- Model language.
- Keep language simple
- Give them choices to help them use words
- Read daily (ask who, what, where, why, how, when questions while reading)
- Ask children what they liked about the book, retell the story together.
- Play/Discover new games together/Show them how to play with new toys
- When interacting with children, be at their eye level; encourage eye contact.
- Use gestures while giving instruction to help the child understand
- Keep instructions simple. Break them down for the child.
